2 T Fast-Acting Yeast
1/2 C Sugar
Combine and let sit for 10 - 15 minutes.
5 C Flour
2 t Salt
1/2 t Vitamin C Powder
1/4 C Butter, softened.
1 Egg, beaten
Combine together in mixer.
Pour yeast mixture SLOWLY into the flour mixture. Add more flour until dough doesn't stick to the sides of the bowl. Let the machine knead the dough for 10 minutes. Turn onto floured surface and knead by hand several times. Grease bowl and put dough in. Turn dough over so the greased side is up. Cover with plastic wrap. Let rise for 1 hour. Punch down. Knead for several minutes. Form rolls. Let rise until double. Bake at 350' for 10 - 15 minutes.
